About Bitxio
Bitxio lets you practice digital-asset trading with virtual funds in twelve fictional markets. Prices are generated on your device by a simulation engine — nothing tracks or predicts a real market. Inside: a full order ticket, portfolio accounting, charts with professional tools, and a built-in course of guides and lessons.
Getting Started
- Open Markets and tap any market to explore its chart.
- Tap Buy — the order ticket opens prefilled. Enter an amount in units or dollars and confirm.
- Track the result in Portfolio, then start the Learn tab's five-part guide, "Using This App".
Common Questions
QAre the prices real?+
No. Every asset in Bitxio is fictional and every price is produced by a deterministic on-device engine. Charts, volumes and the trade tape exist purely for practice — they carry no information about real markets or real asset values.
QHow do fees work?+
Every simulated execution charges a 0.1% fee, shown on the ticket before you confirm and recorded on each fill in History. A buy-and-sell round trip therefore costs about 0.2% — the same arithmetic that makes overtrading expensive in real markets.
QWhy hasn't my limit order filled?+
A limit buy fills when the simulated price drops to your limit or below; a limit sell fills when it rises to your limit or above. Each open order shows how far the price currently is from filling it. While an order rests, its funds or units are reserved — that's the difference between Cash and Available in Portfolio. You can keep up to 12 open orders and cancel any of them at any time.
QHow do I reset, or change the starting balance?+
Settings (the gear on Portfolio) → Data Management → Reset clears everything and restores your virtual cash. Settings → Starting Balance restarts the account with $10,000, $50,000 or $100,000. Both actions affect only simulated data.
QHow do I back up or move my data?+
Settings → Data Management. Export Backup saves your complete portfolio as a file you can keep anywhere; Restore loads it back after validation. Export CSV produces your trade history for spreadsheets. Your data otherwise never leaves the device — deleting the app deletes it, so export a backup first if you want to keep your record.
QIs any of this financial advice?+
No. Bitxio is for education and entertainment. Nothing in the app is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset, and simulated results say nothing about real-market outcomes, which involve substantial risk of loss.
